In my spare time I like to keep up with the latest techniques in Photoshop. I also spend time in Illustrator and Bryce 3D. Here's some of my favorites that were done by manipulating images, layers, and creating effects. Some of the collages were done for clients, others were done in my freetime.

In the fall of 2004 I started designing sports collages for NCSC, a motocross racing organization in Massachusetts.

Photography is by Bob Moore of Micro Media Studios in Duxbury, MA.

Racers choose the shots they like best and I design a 36in x 24in poster in Photoshop. The finished product is a mounted professional poster.

This was done in Photoshop 7 and is my latest and favorite.... It was created using various images, lighting effects, and combining filters.

This was created in Photoshop 7 using various gradients to achieve a realistic look. The coke can was a challenge ...I've seen the coke font on a site in the past....after spending days on the web in search for it I resorted to scanning a coke can and bringing in the "Coca Cola" text from the scanned image.

This was my first attempt at Illustrator. I was in the Computer Graphics Program at Clark University in '98 and our project was to recreate an ad from any magazine. I chose this ad from Boston Magazine. I think I chose this because the shapes were easy to make (piecing together ovals and squares).

This one I call "Extreme Determination" and was made for my son in 1999. He's into dirtbiking. The picture is not him - that's my next project.....

Another Clark University project and a favorite of mine. The background is from playing around with the clouds filter and combining it with others. The background ballerina was formerly a photo, but turned into a "watercolor". The right ballerina's dress was changed using various filters.

This collage was made for my first porfolio site and is used on the home page of this one.

I created this in Bryce 3D and it is NOT my original. It was done following an online tuturial with some changes I decided to make in the sky.

Created in Bryce 3D using a combination of clouds and landscaping.

Having fun with Photoshop 7's liquify filter........

Creating "liquid metal" in Photoshop 7 with the use of levels, lots of layers and other filters.
